About this event
TetraPak is a type of food carton often used for soups, broths, and shelf-stable milks whose plastic-faced foil lining makes it a popular printmaking material. In this workshop, we’ll use salvaged TetraPak cartons and learn how to score, peel, and cut them to create a range of visual effects. We’ll then print the plates, experimenting with both intaglio and relief techniques while becoming familiar with the press. Experimentation is encouraged, so bring ideas and imagery you’d like to work from.
