The University of Kentucky Dance Team Prospect Clinics are designed for dancers in 8th grade through current college students who aspire to compete at the Division I level. Led by the UK Dance Team coaching staff, these clinics provide advanced instruction, evaluation, and recruiting opportunities in a high-level training environment. Participants will learn a variety of material including different dance styles, game day combinations, technical skills, and master classes, while also having the opportunity to showcase their performance quality and versatility throughout the day. Top performers may receive Video Bypasses, granting direct advancement to the final rounds of UK Dance Team auditions without the need to submit a preliminary video. Future clinic invitations and potential coach signings may also be awarded. 50 solo spots are available for current juniors, seniors, and college students, allowing dancers to highlight their individuality in a 45-second solo. The clinic will be held at Tates Creek High School in Lexington, KY and includes expert instruction, elite evaluation, and an inside look at what it takes to be part of the nationally ranked University of Kentucky Dance Team.
