Explore new techniques to elevate your personal style and strengthen your design choices. You will experiment with slip, carving, altering, and color while learning how the principles and elements of design enhance ceramic work. Projects are designed to encourage creativity and support the development of each participant’s unique artistic style. Beginner to intermediate.Supplies needed: Bring your own tools or purchase a basic kit at the LCAC. A variety of clays are offered for sale at the Center; availability varies based on stock. Class fee includes glazes, most firings, and open studio access. There is a fee for re-fires oversize work. Small storage lockers are available for rent.
