This class puts the equipment in your hands and gives you an opportunity to practice the skills you may need during a real emergency. Students will receive practical instruction and hands-on experience with recognizing life-threatening bleeding, applying a tourniquet to themselves and others, using compression bandages, packing wounds, and understanding the use of chest seals. We also discuss selecting and organizing trauma equipment so you understand not only what to carry, but why you carry it and how to use it. This training is appropriate for everyday citizens, families, workplaces, firearm owners, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to be better prepared for an emergency.
