Course Breakdown • 3-Hour Classroom & Drill Session: Learn the mechanics and mindset of Precision Retention Shooting. We cover proper grip under stress, compression and retention drills, weapon presentation and re-presentation, close-quarters muzzle awareness, and practical retention techniques used when an assailant is in contact or grappling for your gun. Students practice dry-fire drills to build safe, repeatable motor patterns. • 3-Hour Live-Fire Range Evolution: Start with fundamentals to sharpen accuracy, then progress to dynamic transitions, multiple targets, movement, weapon re-presentation, and shooting until the threat ends (no preplanned single-round counts). Emphasis is on controlled, accurate follow-up shots, muzzle discipline, and maintaining retention while reloading and moving.
