Description
Listen to Freedom Stories with Maryland's Official Griot, Janice Curtis Greene, as she takes you on a journey from bondage to emancipation. Hear stories of the Underground Railroad you may not have heard before. Learn the history of Juneteenth and why Texas was the last stronghold of enslavement. These stories and songs will help the audience realize that freedom comes in different forms.Age Group/Camp
