THIMUN 27 is an invite only conference with around 3,000 students from all over the world, representing world countries, non-member states, external organizations, NGOs, etc. Our students will engage in the simulated game of United Nations debate and collaboration model and require students to speak, write, both soft and hard communication skills. We as a school have participated in this conference for 10 years now and have become an anchor for our MUN Program. Our school historically is assigned a high powered country, including security council seats, making our school one of the top programs at THIMUN. The trip this year will focus on three aspects, one, Rome/Vatican, its history and relevance in the world we live in today (students will have the opportunity to attend a mass as well). Two, Amsterdam and its wonderful museum culture and Three, the conference itself in The Hague. Students will come back with a deeper understanding of perspective, culture, history and motivation.
