Attention Spanish students! Imagine spending two weeks living with a Chilean family, attending school with Spanish-speaking students, exploring a new country, and creating memories you'll never forget. The St. Edward High School Chilean Student Exchange takes you to the beautiful city of Santiago de Chile and to our fellow Holy Cross school Saint George's College. This isn't a tour—it's a chance to experience what everyday life is really like in Chile. For two weeks, you'll attend classes with your French host brother, make new friends, and discover what it's like to be a student at a fellow Holy Cross school. You'll also get to spend time exploring the region with your host family, experiencing Chilean traditions, food, and culture from the inside—not as a tourist, but as a member of the family. This is a reciprocal exchange, making the experience even more meaningful. Before traveling to Chile, you'll welcome your Chilean host brother to Cleveland from April 4–16, 2027. He'll become part of your family as you introduce him to life at St. Edward High School, share your daily routine, and some American traditions. By the time you arrive in Chile in July (yes, the Chilean school calendar runs from March to December because Chile is in the Southern Hemisphere and aligns its school year with the calendar year), you'll already have a friend waiting to welcome you into his home! ......................................................................
