Description
" Feed your curiosity and discover the joy of learning through art. This engaging seven-week series explores how creative activity can spark curiosity, support learning, and encourage a growth mindset.
Each session blends guided conversation inspired by artists, artwork, and hands-on projects using a variety of art materials and techniques. Participants will experiment with drawing, collage, mixed media, and visual journaling to stretch the imagination and build new skills in a supportive environment. Along the way, we'll explore how creativity can help us stay flexible, build confidence, and express ourselves in new ways.
This series offers an opportunity to learn something new, connect ideas in unexpected ways, and experience the satisfaction of creating artwork. No prior art experience is necessary - just a willingness to explore, experiment, and enjoy the process.
Inspired by the Intellectual dimension of Dr. Peggy Swarbrick’s 8 Dimensions of Wellness model, participants will discover how art-making can strengthen observation skills, encourage problem-solving, and keep the mind active and engaged.Enroll in Session 1 now and Session 2 by 9/30 and receive a 10% discount off Session 2 tuition. *Note: this workshop is offered as part of our Wellness series programming, and addresses the Intellectual, Social, and Emotional dimensions of wellness.
