About this event
Explore the magic of the night sky with The Star People: A Lakota Story by S. D. Nelson! Learn how the stars came to be in this beautiful traditional story. Then, create your own constellation art with oil pastels and build a simple circuit to make your stars twinkle like the real night sky. This series is presented by the Mazza Museum at the University of Findlay. There will be different presenters for each session, and it is geared to individuals K-Adult. Mazza Museum is the world's largest collection of original artwork by children's book illustrators. The Museum's goal is to promote literacy and enrich the lives of all people through the art of picture books. No pre-registration is required. This program is included with your Lakeside Chautauqua Gate Pass.
