Mandala art uses paint or other materials applied in a circular design. The word, "Mandala" literally means "circle" in Sanskrit. With this project you'll use dotting tools to apply dots of paint to the backside of a clear glass plate. Unlike regular Mandalas where you start with big dots and top with smaller dots, with this project you apply paint in the opposite way with small dots first and then work up to big dots. The end result is as colorful and complex as you want to make it. A great souvenir of you time at Lakeside!
