About Jeff Galloway’s Program:
Galloway Lakeland Training is an endurance training program for runners of all abilities. This global training program, along with the run-walk-run method, is produced by Jeff Galloway, who represented the United States in the 1972 Olympics. Jeff has been running marathons for over 40 years and coaching runners since 1978. The Lakeland group offers training for first time half marathoners to Boston Qualifiers. Our runners age from 20 to 81. The program offers 8 distinct pace groups for the half marathon to make sure every runner is matched with someone of similar ability. The primary goals of the program are to keep everyone injury free, improve their physical and mental health, share the comradery of group training, and empower runners to finish a half marathon or marathon.

The Jeff Galloway training approach is suitable for all levels and all ages! We focus on achieving your goal distance, injury free while having fun and building fitness. Bring a friend and join us for one of our Saturday morning weekly group runs ( the first session is free) and experience great comradery, effective training and lots of support. Training Program membership does not include race entry fees.
The training fee is non-refundable. Requests for refunds are considered for medical reasons only, must be accompanied by a physician’s letter and must be submitted prior to the half-way point in the training season. A $25 processing fee will be retained. People who want to try out Galloway Training may attend up to two group runs free of charge before registering for the season.
