Youth Novice Teams Rowing is an empowering sport that challenges athletes physically, mentally and technically. No experience required to join. As a freshman looking for a sport to try or a senior looking to cross train, we build a positive environment where athletes learn to love the process of learning and growing. Through a partnership with the local high schools, varsity athletes have an opportunity to “letter” just as they would in a sport offered through school. Enjoy a Spring rowing season filled with training and racing in the Northwest. We offer high energy and camaraderie with athletes from all around the area. Places in this squad are limited and offered to athletes who have completed Fall Youth Novice Rowing. LOCR is open to student athletes, 9th-12th grade, regardless of experience. Practice is daily after school, Monday through Friday, 4:15-6:30p.
Registration Requirements
Lake Oswego Community Rowing has worked to provide easy access to information and registration for all rowing activities. If you have any questions or issues with your class please contact LOCR directly at info@lorowing.com or 503-451-0490
If you are a current rower and have previously rowed with us in the last 12 months, we do not need new forms. If you have never rowed with us, please complete the following:
1. LOCR iCrew App sign up - instructions at www.lakeoswegorowing.com/icrew
1. Registration code is ‘roses’.
2. Must be done before the next two steps.

3. USRowing Membership & Insurance. You will need to become a member of LOCR and then use the club code (EJPZZ) to register; Basic membership is $9.75 (Link on iCrew).
