Rebuilding Connections: Family Estrangement Support and Repair Strategies

Co-facilitated by family therapists, DeLisa Levine, LMFT and Andy Pfandler, Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, at Family Ties Counseling Center, this five-week support group provides a safe, understanding space for individuals experiencing family estrangement, including parents of adult children or adult children estranged from parents. Participants will gain insight, validation, and practical strategies for navigating estranged family relationships, including:

  • Understanding parent–adult child estrangement
  • Addressing common myths and misconceptions
  • Exploring emotional impacts on families
  • Considering healing, boundaries, and potential reconnection
  • Understanding common roadblocks and practical, strategies for reconnection

This series offers guidance, community, and tools to manage the challenges of estranged relationships while fostering hope and personal growth.
