Family Estrangement – How'd we get here and what do we do next?

Join us for a collaborative session with DeLisa Levine, LMFT, and Andy Pfandler, Marriage and Family Therapist Associate at Family Ties Counseling Center, exploring the complex dynamics of family estrangement. This session will focus on why estrangement has become more common and how generational and cultural differences shape family relationships. Participants will gain insight into the factors that contribute to estrangement, explore different perspectives across generations, and discuss potential pathways toward communication and understanding. This foundational conversation is designed to help the community better understand these challenging dynamics and prepare for the deeper support offered in the subsequent group series.
