On September 30th @ 8am, I am planning(Runners Paradise) on doing a charity run/walk to help displaced community members from the wild fires in Lahaina. All proceeds will be donated to The Maui Strong Fund.
Normally, in mid September, we would have held the 22nd Annual Front Street Mile, that is a 90% kids event and brings in close to 700 kids and adults. Seeing that this event is cancelled, we are replacing it with a charity run/walk called, The Lahaina Strong Keiki Mile Run/Walk. The event will be held at Kaanapali Golf course @ 8am, September 30th.
This event is open to the kids/parents and anyone who wants to help in a time of need.
This is not a competitive event. It's just an opportunity to help the community in any way possible. We will be handing out medals, water bottles and bags at the finish(Front Street Mile 2023/with Lahaina Strong on the back of medals).
