Day Hike at Cabrillo National Monument & Sunset Cliffs

Cabrillo National Monument offers Bayside Trail at 2.5-miles and Point Loma Tidepools and Coastal Trail at 1-mile hikes that are considered moderately easy in difficulty with a total of 472 ft feet of elevation gain with great views of the ocean, Ballast Point (where Cabrillo landed), downtown, and Coronado Island. On your own visit the lighthouse, exhibits and visitor center. Afterwards, we will head to Sunset Cliffs for the clifftop path that offers scenic views. Participants should wear sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots, be prepared for plenty of sunshine and bring snacks, lunch and water to have during the hike. Participants meet at the Laguna Hills Community Center where City staff will provide transportation to the trailhead. Call (949) 707- 2680 for more information.
