CHECK-IN TIME: 8:30 AM TIME: 9:00 AM – 12:00PM LOCATION: Tigue Moore Russo Park, 201 Reinhardt Dr., Lafayette, LA 70503 This Camp is a key recruiting event for the Matt Deggs Cajun Baseball coaching staff, offering high school players and college transfers a chance to be evaluated and potentially added to the program’s follow list. Position players will run a timed 60-yard dash, take part in a defensive evaluation including arm strength, and participate in batting practice. Pitchers will throw a bullpen under a strict pitch count, and dual players will be evaluated in both areas—those intending to pitch and play a position must register as a position/dual player. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to camp at a location to be announced. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the field. Campers must bring their own gear, including glove, bat, helmet, cleats, turf or tennis shoes, and catcher’s equipment if needed; all items should be labeled. Lunch is not provided.
