DURING COVID - This class will be held outdoors and include social distancing and a mask requirement. In an effort to keep you safe, please bring all your own equipment to class with you.

Tai Chi for Beginners is the ideal class for students that have had some exposure of Tai Chi or martial arts and wish to learn a new form or learn how to improve the energetic flow of movement.

The objective of Tai Chi is to achieve physical balance by strengthening muscles and improving coordination, while at the same time improving mental balance. This is why Tai Chi is effective for fall prevention, movement control, weight transference, and the integration of mind and body.

A number of studies indicate that being confident results in less falls, since the fear of falls increases the risk of falling. Practicing a mind-body exercise, such as Tai Chi, builds confidence, thus alleviating the fear of falling.

Enjoy the Class With A Walk In Fee of $12.
