Description

Bridge 102 focuses on declarer's Play of the hand. Primary concepts covered include creating an initial plan for playing a hand to fulfill the contracted bid, techniques used to develop additional tricks, eliminating losers, watching out for entries, managing the trump suit and watching out for opponents defensive actions. Although Bridge 101 Basic Bidding is not a prerequisite, some degree of knowledge of basic bidding concepts is required. Bridge 102, although focused on declarer play, does include a brief review of basic bidding in each lesson and also introduces bidding concepts not covered in the beginning bidding course, such as strong opening bids, slam bidding, and preemptive bids.
