He brings to life people and little-known events that brought wealth, honor, literary fame, and recognition to the Piscataqua region, Maine, and Northern New England. During the summer he works as a tour guide/narrator for the Isles of Shoals Steamship Company on the Motor Vessel Thomas Laighton and for Historic New England as tour guide at the Sarah Orne Jewett House in South Berwick, Maine.
