Learn Italian in a fun way through the music and melody of Italian pop artists. We’ll listen to songs, watch videos, read lyrics, and work through translations, pronunciation, grammar, and meaning in this in-person class. And we’ll apply some of the words and phrases to common travel situations. Some prior Italian instruction is helpful but not required for motivated learners. Access to an Italian/English dictionary or Google Translate on your smart phone is needed. This class meets on Thursdays for 6 classes. No class 3/19/26. Rich Belano first learned Italian at Kittery Adult Education from "Giuseppe" Marquette in the late 1990's and then moved to Innsbruck where he took a course in conversational Italian ... taught in German (ouch!). An Italophile, he continues learning Italian through reading books, watching movies, listening to music, 'doing' Duolingo, and, whenever possible, traveling across many parts of Italy. He is happy to share ideas and recommendations for visiting Italy with anyone who has the patience to endure his incessant gushing on all things Italian.
