Learn correct hand positions, sight reading, scale patterns, arpeggios, chords and fingerstyle techniques such as Travis picking. The course includes classical etudes for technique and song learning from folk, popular and rock styles; students must bring their own guitar, preferably a nylon stringed instrument. BGS 1 - is the first class for beginners. Topics include: Proper classical guitar technique, note/TAB reading/song learning (pick and fingerpicking styles) & blues improvisation.
