Participant Information – The Next Loop 50 Mile Challenge

The Next Loop 50 Mile Challenge is a continuous loop ultra held concurrently with The Next Loop Endurance Series.

Athletes in the 50 Mile Challenge will run repeated 3.1-mile (5K) trail loops, passing through the start/finish area at the completion of each loop. The race continues uninterrupted until the full 50-mile distance is completed or the athlete chooses to stop.

A fully stocked aid station will be located at the start/finish line, providing water, basic food, and electrolytes each time athletes pass through.

50-mile participants may set up a dedicated personal staging area either:

  • At their vehicle, or

  • In the designated 50-mile participant staging area

Athletes are encouraged to bring personal nutrition, hydration, clothing changes, lighting (if needed), and any gear required to manage a long-duration effort.

This format allows runners to maintain consistent access to support, manage fueling and pacing efficiently, and focus on completing the distance without the complexity of remote aid stations.

Pacers are allowed after 4PM.
