Based on the Pawn to King curriculum of The Kansas City Chess Club, beginner and advanced students will learn strategy, tactics, chess etiquette, and move onto higher-level skills during this course. Sessions will include a chess lesson, skill work, and an opportunity for practice play, which is a fun way to practice skills learned in the lessons and to prepare for tournament chess.
