In this exhibition, settler artist, Victoria Kjargaard explores how reconciliation can occur when people face difficult histories. Kjargaard’s compositions capture images of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School (KIRS), its residents and the sweeping fields surrounding the site. Soft in tone, the work becomes a memorial to young lives taken.
