Students will spend REACH week discovering the science, history, and cultures that make South Florida unique, all within two hours of Jupiter. The week starts in Miami at the Frost Science Museum and Little Havana, continues to Delray Beach for the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, and launches into a full day at Kennedy Space Center. Back home in Jupiter, students climb the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, visit the sea turtle hospital at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. The week ends with a return trip to Miami for the Vizcaya Museum and Wynwood Walls. Along the way, students keep a Florida Field Guide journal of their observations and reflections! They'll come home with a deeper understanding of how Florida's geography, innovation, and people shaped the state, and a greater sense of wonder at creation and our responsibility to care for it.
