About this event
Description
We're sorry, but this class is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
Enjoy expressing yourself beautifully and performing this dance style, regardless of age. There is no embarrassment involved, just a passion for the dance. First class sports shoes and clothing, hydration is needed. Students can acquire the shoes, tights, and skirts for further classes. Flamenco dance might be the most famous type of Spanish dance, with roots in Indian, Arabic, and Spanish culture. It is a highly expressive dance characterized by hand clapping, percussive footwork, and intricate hand, arm, and body movements. It is known for its sweeping arm movements and rhythmic fee stomping. The dancers' steps depend on the traditions of the song played. Perhaps the greatest joy of flamenco dancing is watching the personal expressions and emotions of the dancer, which change many times during a single performance. The Instructor, Gabriela Reyes has been a professional Flamenco dancer, performer, and choreographer for more than 15 years. She has traveled with her workshops and performances to Venezuela, Aruba, Ecuador, and the U.S.A.
