About this event
Led by Mrs. Jennifer Spear - $295.00 Pull up a seat at the table; Dish It Up is serving a week full of fun, flavor, and faith! This course weaves together practical cooking skills, personal confidence and creativity in the kitchen, as well as a deep understanding of how food can be a powerful way to love and serve others—one meal at a time. Throughout the week, young chefs will whisk their way through hands-on cooking basics with professional chef Bryce Dangerfield inside a local restaurant. They’ll learn the art and history of charcuterie and even create their own beautiful boards to take home. A special trip to a local produce farm will let them dig in—literally! —as they pick fresh strawberries and see where real ingredients come from. Each day, they’ll bake up sweet treats and delicious recipes to bring home to share and savor - all while building their very own custom recipe binder, so they can reheat their skills over and over again at home. We’ll wrap up this tasty adventure with an epic team cooking challenge, where kids will budget, plan, shop, cook, and plate their own creations—with Chef Dangerfield and a panel of judges ready to eat it up - and hand out some fun prizes! Whether you’re a beginner or a budding sous-chef, this week will feed your passion and leave you full of faith and flavor! So, bring your appetite for adventure and your taste for truth - it's time to Dish it Up!
