Interested in paddling new places within the Forest Preserve? Maybe you've taken our Kayak Kollege program and now you'd like a bit more experience. Explore Rock Run Rookery from a new perspective. Rent a kayak from our fleet to embark on your own adventure. We provide all necessary equipment, and certified instructors will be on site to get you started and have extra eyes on the water. Be sure to wear shoes and clothes that can get wet, and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle. Previous kayak experience is required. The launch area is accessible by a paved sidewalk trail from the parking lot.
Ages 12 or older. (Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.)
