"Under raging storm clouds, the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The wind’s howling increases as he turns his gaze down toward the village of Barovia. Far below, yet not beyond his keen eyesight, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd’s face forms the barest hint of a smile as his dark plan unfolds. A lightning flash rips through the darkness, but Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind fills the midnight air. The master of Castle Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited."
All adventurers will begin at level 1, making it a perfect campaign for new and returning players! Participants are welcome to bring their own level 1 character ready-made, or they’ll have the option to choose from some provided pre-made characters.
We will be utilizing D&D Beyond for this campaign which can be accessed through desktop and mobile devices. D&D Beyond is a Dungeons and Dragons tool that allows you to make and manage your character, view map(s), and access helpful tools during the campaign! It is not a requirement to use D&D Beyond, though it is highly encouraged. If you plan to use D&D Beyond, please bring a laptop, tablet, or phone so that you can access these features on your own, though we will have the map on our big screen for everyone to view.
A campaign link will be shared at the start, but we recommend creating an account and character ahead of time to save time. Pre-made characters will be available both digitally and in print if needed.
