SAILING + STEM - Sailing is as much an adventure as it is a learning experience. This class is a wonderful example of that. Learn how Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) concepts can be combined with the excitement of sailing. Spend an entire day on and off the water to get your fill of awesome sailing, plus immersing yourself in various STEM activities. Learn about cool things like lift, wind power, buoyancy, water quality, simple machines, sailing angles, and so much more! There will be lots of partner, team and group activities, and lots of fun-filled, fast-paced, hands-on activities. Here is your chance to get the best of both worlds by learning a boatload of stuff and sailing away on the bay. SAVE BY REGISTERING EARLY! Please note, students who cancel 21 days or more before the class start date will receive a full refund, less a 5% processing fee. Within 20 days of the start date you will receive a 50% refund, less a 5% processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 14 days of the start date of the class. THIS CLASS IS ALSO OFFERED ON TUESDAY, JULY 2nd.
