The Wayne County Catfish Tournament June 1 and 2 at Jaycee Fair Grounds. Optional Captain/Team meeting June 1 at 10:00 a.m. Registration - $100 per angler with an optional $10.00 per fisherman Big Fish Pot; minimum registration $200 per boat. Tournament payout based on 170 entries and will be adjusted based on number of entries.
Participants must fish on the main run of the Altamaha River and can fish from the confluence to the coast. Fish must be caught on a pole. No bush hooks. Rules are posted on the tourism board website. Participants must familiarize themselves with the rules.
You must come to the weigh-in site to get your tee shirt(s).
Event details and schedule
Weigh-in will close Saturday night at 10:00 pm and will re-open Sunday morning at 8:00 am.
Children under 16 fish free one per registered adult. Additional prizes and categories.
