The 2026 Wayne County Hog Jam February 20-22. Registration fee is $50 for each hunter per category. $100 to hunt both bow and gun. One hunter under 16 may hunt free with a registered adult.
Hunt anywhere you can legally hunt in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee or Alabama.
Must be in line for weigh-in by 12:00 p.m. Sunday. Weigh-in closes nightly at 11:00 p.m.
If traveling any distance to weigh-in, be sure to plan accordingly to prevent spoiled entries which may be cause a problem at weigh-in.

All state and federal rules, laws, and regulations must be followed. Any infraction of these laws and regulations will result in disqualification. It is the responsibility of the hunter(s) to be familiar with the rules.
It is illegal to cross state lines with live hogs.
The committee will decide on all ties and disqualifications.
Gun and archery hunters will weigh in one hog. One substitution will be allowed.
Tournament hours will be Friday, February 20, 2:00 p.m. - 12:00 p.m. Noon Sunday, February 22.

Violating tournament rules will result in automatic disqualification.
Anyone previously disqualified in any tourism board event or committing any other action determined by the tournament committee to be a rules violation will be disqualified and not allowed to enter any future events of the Wayne County Board of Tourism
Cash prize winners may be subject to a polygraph/voice stress test.
Entry fee: $50 per Bow and Rifle hunter. Children under 16 can participate for free with paid hunter.
GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS EXPECTED OF ALL INDIVIDUALS DURING THE EVENT. Any disorderly conduct will be reason for disqualification
Entry fees must be received no later than 6 p.m. Friday, February 20.

- Tournament hours: 2 p.m. Friday February 20 to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22. Weigh-in will close nightly at 10:00 p.m.
- All hogs must be at weigh-in by 12p.m. Sunday, February 22.
- Hogs may be killed by Bow or Gun. All hogs must be handled and removed by hunter.
- No domesticated hogs - this rule to be determined by the tournament committee
- Hog must have never been knowingly penned.
- Hunters are allowed to hunt any area they have permission to hunt
- All children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a paying adult.
- The committee will decide on all ties and disqualifications.
- All hog hunting must be done in GA, FL, AL, TN, or SC; all hunters must have a valid Hunting License.
- Winners will be determined at the close of the tournament.
- Any protest must be made by 11:00 in writing to weigh masters with a $50 protest fee.
- Any contestant with a blood alcohol content high enough to affect the outcome of the polygraph test will be disqualified by tournament committee.
- No hunting in pens of any size
- Winners are determined by the hog’s weight only.
- Hunters will be allowed five (5) hogs with top three (3) harvest weights for total.
- NO BARROW HOGS ALLOWED
- NO SPOILED hogs will be allowed.
