This beginner-friendly 3D printing course introduces students to the fundamentals of additive manufacturing while building confidence through hands-on projects and real-world problem solving. Participants learn how to operate a desktop 3D printer, use basic CAD software and turn digital designs into physical parts using industry-relevant tools and materials. In addition to technical skills, the course integrates key manufacturing concepts such as Standard Work, Lean principles, effective communication and teamwork to mirror real shop-floor expectations. Through a mix of guided instruction, interactive discussions, and practical application, learners develop creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while preparing for careers in engineering, manufacturing, design and emerging technologies. * Students get to keep their 3D printer at the end of this camp.
