About this event
This tutorial is focused on how to use the router safely. We will discuss the importance of cutting direction and how to decide which way to move your router against the workpiece. We’ll also practice installing bits and setting up your router and accessories to cut at the correct depth. We’ll examine a variety of bits and talk about what they are used for. We have a range of routers and assemblies including full sized and trim routers, fixed bases and plunge bases, as well as router tables. You will leave this tutorial with the confidence and hands on practice needed to tackle your own router project. Students under 18 may attend with parental permission.
