About this event
In this workshop, participants will learn how to safely and effectively use the circular saw. We will cover all the built in safety features of these saws, discuss the difference between worm drives and side winders, and learn how to safely make cuts with both types of saws. Students will have ample opportunity to practice making cuts on a variety of lumber. Students will go home with the confidence to safely use a circular saw on their next project. You are welcome to take sawdust and cutoffs with you if you’d like :) Students under 18 may attend with parental permission.
