Description

The ICSC Mindful Walking group continues year-round every Wednesday morning, except during severe weather. Newcomers are welcome in any season. We read a poem, ring a bell, and stroll up or down the Iowa River from Crandic Park, pausing to share sightings and surprises. Join us as winter subtly layers itself over fall's vividness, the eagles begin to make their return, and herons and gulls join the regular resident ducks, geese, mergansers, and kildeer. This is designed to bring more mindfulness into daily living. It's not a formal walking meditation program.
