Pages in the Park is a one-day reading retreat designed for book lovers to enjoy a peaceful day reading in a welcoming indoor/outdoor setting. Along with quiet reading time the day features a presentation from Annie’s Foundation on Banned Books in Iowa, guided book club discussions lead by the Iowa City Public Library, and bookish crafts and activities. Participants will also have time to explore a book fair presented by Sidekick Coffee and Books along with other venders with a variety of items available for purchase. Whether you’re looking to discover your next favorite book or simply enjoy a peaceful literary day, this retreat offers the perfect blend of community and quiet.
Add On’s available for extra purchase:
-Add the “Story & a Snack” package for an additional $25.00. Story & a Snack will include a cater lunch provided. There will also be refreshments and some light snacks as well.
-Add the “Hardcover Hall” package for an additional $25.00. The Hardcover Hall package provides some extra goodies to the reader. There will be items including a “Blind Date” with a book and other fun extras for this package.
