The Sports Forum is a long-standing, welcoming group of fans who gather weekly for lively, informal conversations about Iowa athletics and the wider world of sports. Founded by legendary sportswriter Al Grady, this group offers something you won't find anywhere else: insider access.
Recent guest speakers have included University of Iowa Athletics leadership, head coaches, and respected sports journalists—bringing behind-the-scenes insight on everything from football and basketball to the evolving world of college athletics.
The forum is on a summer break and will resume August 31, continuing through April 2027.
Whether you're a devoted Hawkeye fan or simply enjoy thoughtful sports conversation, you're welcome to join at any time—come regularly or drop in when it fits your schedule.
