The Family Folk Machine will begin rehearsals for our Spring 2026 installment of Dreaming Iowa on Sunday, January 18. The second part of our Dreaming Iowa series will feature historic songs from Iowa settlers and immigrants and about women's rights, songs about wild places in Iowa, and songs about belonging. We're looking forward to learning more about our history and bringing it to life through song. Our spring concert will be at the Englert on Saturday, May 2, at 3 pm.

To join us, please send an email to jean@familyfolkmachine.org. You can also just show up to our first rehearsal, but getting in touch beforehand will ensure that you receive up-to-date information about our gathering plans. Registration fees for the Family Folk Machine are $75 per adult for the semester and $50 per kid age 6 and up, with reduced fees available. The FFM is a non-auditioned ensemble, and everyone is welcome.
