Description

Iowa City Senior Center members are invited to FilmScene to view a new film each month, followed by a 30-minute discussion facilitated by Donna Janosik. Donna received a BA in Communications with emphasis in Film and Broadcasting from the University of Iowa in 1985. She then worked in various aspects on numerous productions in New York, including writing, directing, and producing. From there, she moved to Los Angeles and continued production work until receiving an MA in Psychology at Antioch University in 1999. She has maintained private practice and has taught Clinical Psychology courses as an Adjunct Professor at North Park University in Chicago. Donna is a huge film buff and is looking forward to great Cinema Salon discussions.
Screenings are open to the public and seating is first come, first served.
Films are announced about two weeks in advance.
Register with the Senior Center by 5:00 pm the day before each screening.
Fee: $6, low-income discount not available; pay at the FilmScene box office.
