Description

Author talk: “An Intersection of the Arts and Aging Well” presented by Tim CharlesTim Charles, author of memoir AGING LIFE DESIGN: A Journey Captured in Morning Pages, is a Cedar Rapids resident with over 47 years of experience in the healthcare industry, and 40 years in senior leadership. He retired in 2022 as Mercy Medical Center (Cedar Rapids) President and CEO. Among other activities in retirement he has become an avid painter. Charles is the founder and president of Aging Life Design, Inc., a company whose mission addresses the needs of the aging community. “My intention is to start with a basic introduction connecting the dots with my interest in aging and neuroaesthetics. That sets the stage for the importance of the arts as we age.” He will include a powerpoint of his own artwork. 30-40 minute presentation, followed by Q&A session. This program is sponsored by TRAIL of Johnson County.
