Description
Join Health, Brain, and Cognition Lab Director Dr. Michelle Voss and guest speakers for an interactive six-week class held April 1–May 6 at the Iowa City Senior Center. This course explores how heart and metabolic health influence risk for cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease, why different types of physical activity matter for brain health, and which strategies are most effective for making lasting health behavior changes. Each week includes short assigned readings, followed by discussion and hands-on activities during class. Activities are designed for you to connect the material to your own life, clarify personal goals, and develop practical strategies to support long-term brain and cognitive wellness.
