Adult swim classes are designed for beginner and intermediate adult swimmers who want to improve their comfort, safety, and skills in the water. Instruction focuses on core water safety principles, proper breathing, floating, and body positioning, along with introductory swim mechanics and stroke development. Lessons are designed to support individual progress while boosting confidence and endurance in a safe and supportive environment.
Costs: $17 for Inglewood residents; $23 for non-residentsEach class lasts 30 minutes and takes place on two consecutive Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The City of Inglewood would like to inform community patrons that the opening of aquatic classes at Edward Vincent Jr. Park Pool is currently tentative. At this time, the pool is currently inoperable, and its opening for the summer season is contingent upon the completion of necessary repairs.
As a result, registration for aquatic classes via ActiveNet are temporarily on hold. Registration is expected to resume no earlier than June 1, 2026, or once repairs have been completed and the facility is cleared for use.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
Request for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to: parksrec@cityofinglewood.org prior to the start of the class or session.
Request for refunds will be issued less a 15% processing fee for each class/session refunded. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for refunds.s.
