Welcome to the YMCA! Great school days end at the YMCA! In partnership with the Inglewood Unified School District, the Westchester Family YMCA is offering free after school drop in program for IUSD students in grades 9-12 on 3 IUSD High School campuses. We are proud to offer an after school recreational enrichment program, filled with academic, recreational and educational enrichment activities and opportunities to help teens learn, grow and thrive! The benefits of YMCA After School Recreational Enrichment programs: • High quality & well-trained staff members. Staff members are Infant, Child & Adult CPR, Basic First Aid and AED certified. • Academic, Recreational and Educational Enrichment sessions and activities, including fitness, social-emotional development, fine arts, STEAM, play and more! We look forward to supporting your teens school day, with the Y after school! This program is a YMCA after school recreational enrichment program. This program is not a licensed child care program and the program does not take place in a licensed child care facility (CA Health & Safety Code § 1596.793). By registering for this program, the parent, guardian or authorized representative of the enrolled child/children confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to all the policies and procedures for enrollment in this YMCA program. In addition, the parent, guardian or authorized representative confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to the most recent edition of the YMCA Handbook for this program, available below and for download at www.ymcaLA.org/childcare. When enrolling a student, parents/guardians must complete the follow steps before the student may attend: (1) enroll the student online through the YMCA Active Network registration portal and (2) complete an online profile (enrollment packet) through the YMCA CampDoc/DocNetwork paperless registration system. Upon completing step 1, the parent/guardian will receive an email invitation to complete their student’s CampDoc/DocNetwork profile, within 1-2 business days. If the parent/guardian needs for their student to start immediately, the parent/guardian may email the YMCA at email@example.com to request an invitation to complete their student’s CampDoc/DocNetwork profile. Student's may not start the program until step 1 and step 2 are complete and the parent/guardian receives an email from the Program Director with the student's start date.
