Description

Join us for a day of skiing with the United States Adaptive Recreation Center (USARC) in Big Bear. USARC has snow sport options available for all ability levels, including stand up and sit down ski's.

Is this your first time skiing? No worries, as each ticket includes five (5) hours of private instruction with USARC trained staff, all ski equipment (excluding clothing and accessories), and a lift ticket to Bear Mountain Resort.

Participants have the option to either transport themselves or catch a ride with DRD as we depart for Big Bear. Transportation must be registered for at the time of initial registration for the program.

A limited number of tickets available. Deadline for signups is February 13, 2026!

This opportunity is for individuals with disabilities, participants must have a doctor diagnosed cognitive or physical disability to participate. A Special Needs form must be completed, in addition to the standard waiver, if the participant is using DRD transportation. The paperwork can be downloaded from the DRD website or completed in person at a community center front counter.
