Join us for a heartwarming morning of nature, connection, and discovery at the Salton Sea State Recreation Area this Thanksgiving Break! The Grand & Little Bird Walk is a special experience designed to bring grandparents, grandkids, and families together through the joy of birdwatching during one of the busiest migration seasons on the pacific flyway!
Whether this is your first birding experience, or you are a long-time birder, explore with us one of California's most unique bird habitats. At this event, participants will enjoy a bird walk, and we will pause for storytelling moments, bird facts, and opportunities for grandparents to share their own nature memories with their grandkids. Come make memories, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with nature and each other! Transportation is available on a first-come first-served basis.
All ages welcome, light snacks provided.
Bring with you:

• 1 liter of water
• a sun hat
• sunscreen
• binoculars (not required)
• wear comfortable close-toed shoes
