Thank you! Thanks to funding from the Route to Parks Grant through Parks California, we are able to offer some fun free day trips to our residents. This full day adventure takes us to the meadows, mountains, and oak woodlands of Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. Rich in gold mine history, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park is the perfect place to learn and explore! We will hike a nature loop trail around the perimeter of an old gold mine, bathe in rock cascades, and pay a visit to the state park's visitor's center! This is a full day activity. To access the rock cascades, participants will need to be able to hike nearly half a mile of uneven terrain. Participants must know how to swim to participate in the water activities.
Transportation is provided for this activity. Pickup Time: 7:00AM at the Indio Community Center Destination: Cuyamaca Rancho State ParkWe will communicate with everyone registered two weeks prior to the trip to give you details on the events and timing of the day.
