About this event
Have you ever wanted to make your own movie? This week-long course will provide students with a crash course into the fun and exciting world of video film making. No prior experience with camera work or editing software is necessary, so students with little or no knowledge of filming or editing should feel comfortable participating. Basics of videography will be covered (framing, lighting, composition), as well as an introduction to the editing process (understanding how to tell a story, knowing what to keep and what to cut) and instruction in "easy to use" editing software. Students will be challenged with this medium but in a way that allows them to explore their creativity in the digital world that we live in, empowering them to become producers of digital content as opposed to merely passive consumers. This camp has a very popular following and traditionally sells out. Please register now!
